May 4, 1926 - December 30, 2011

Sarasota, Florida  -  Adele Edgeworth of Bloomington, Indiana passed away December 30, 2011.  She was born in Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of Enrico and Maria Liva.  She married her husband of 66 years, John R. Edgeworth, in Los Angeles, California in 1945 where he was stationed with the U.S. Army Air Corps.  She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Bloomington, St. Barnabus Episcopal Church of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tri Kappa Sorority, Navajo Club Unique Club and the Wednesday Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Luigi Liva, Emilio Liva, and Aurelio Liva, and sister Margarete Liva Louden.  She is survived by her husband, John R. Edgeworth of Sarasota, Florida; sister Gilda Liva Caruso of Dover, Delaware; daughters Amy Edgeworth Hill of Montgomery, Ohio (husband George), Anne Edgeworth Klockowski of New Port Richey, Florida (husband Jim), and Lucy Edgeworth McCullough of Franklin, Tennessee (husband Edward); sons Harry Edgeworth of Bloomington, Indiana (wife Suzi) and John L. Edgeworth of Bloomington, Indiana (wife Fidelia); thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012, at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, with Rev. George A. Hill officiating.  A private, family cemetery service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.  Friends may call on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:30p.m. at Allen Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.
