Alfred Francis Dallen died quietly in the home of his sister, Dee Juric, on June 22, 2010 after a long illness. He was 78 years old. He was born on December 4, 1931 in Bronson, IA.
Al was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, his parents Fred and Martha (Crawford) Dallen, a sister Eileen Emery and a brother Larry Dallen.
He is survived by two daughters, Diane and Rita; two sons Al and James; sisters Charlene Matousek of IA, Dee Juric of Bloomington, Terry Gruener of Martinsville, Mary Hanlon of CA and Marjorie Little of WA; brothers Conrad Dallen of CA and Mike and Richard Dallen both of WA and several nieces and nephews.
Grandson Jamie Dallen will hold a memorial service for Alfred in Sioux City, IA in September where Al will be buried next to his parents with military honors.
