Anna Belle Buskirk, 89 of Ellettsville, passed away at the Richland Bean Blossom Nursing Home, October 25, 2011.  She was born March 14, 1922 in Bloomington, IN to James E. Prow and Roxana Theodora (Stivers) Prow.

Anna Belle graduated from Bloomington High School in 1941; she retired from the Monroe County Co-Op Extension Service as an office manager after twenty-four years.  She was a member of the Indiana Avenue Church of Christ, Farm Bureau, Extension Homemaker Club, Friendly Circle Club, 4-H Club leader of Thrifty Toilers, and Southern Hills Church of Christ.  She also volunteered as a Pink Lady at Bloomington Hospital.

 She leaves behind her loving husband, David W. Buskirk of sixty-five years, Son James David Buskirk and his wife Rhea Dawn of Ellettsville, Grandchildren James Michael Buskirk, Christina R. Combs and her husband Darin, great-grandchildren Logan and Garrett Combs, brother-n-law Odell Buskirk and his wife Mae, and several nieces and nephews.

 Anna Belle is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gilbert and James Prow, half sisters Wanda Walden, Olive Deckard, and half brother Clint Hacker.

 Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday October 26, 2011 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington, IN with services 11am on Thursday October 27, 2011 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.

 Memorial Contributions can be made to the Southern Hills Church of Christ. Anna Belle had been a resident of Richland Bean Blossom Nursing Home for almost nine years with Alzheimer's disease.  She left behind a wonderful caring group of nurses and staff.  The family would like to thank all of them.
