Dear Uncle Dick and all of our cousins, We're so sorry about Betsy's death and how quickly it happened. She was always wonderful to me as I was growing up and it meant the world to me.we knew that she had returned to her Quaker roots but hadn't realized how extensively she was involved there in Bloomington. All we can really say is how much we love all of you and how our hearts and prayers go out to you right now. Betsy was a very rare person who gave of her time and herself without needing to call attention to just how much she was doing. Our love, sympathy, and prayers are with you all. Love, Phil & Karen

Dick and family, I was saddened to see the obit that posted Betsy's death. I think I only met her once but since our paths have crossed many years ago at Devon Swim Club I felt I should send my condolences. I have thought about you since those lifeguarding days and wondered how you were. Unfortunately, I find out through this occasion. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Betsy's family, I am so sorry for your loss of Betsy. I worked with her on the Center for Sustainable Living board for the past few years. She was a wonderful addition to our group and I found her calm, steady presence very comforting. I am sad that I will miss both of her services, as I am visiting family in California. She would often talk about her family and I could tell how important you all were in her life. You were blessed to have such a lovely woman in your lives. I will miss her dearly.

Dearest Holly and Family, I am so sad to hear about Betsy's death. I'll always remember your mom as a sweet, kind and gentle woman, a caring mom. She made a warm and welcoming home. I know you all miss her terribly and I hope you find comfort in each other's presence during this holiday season.
