Bob Allender, 79, ofBedford, formerly ofBloomington, passed away Sunday at IU Health Bedford Hospital. He was the son of Cecil P. and Ruth (Snyder) Allender, born February 15, 1932 inBrown County,Indiana.  After 35 years of service Bob retired from Cummins inColumbus. He was a member of the New Life Trinity Holiness Tabernacle and formerly a member of theBelmontPentecostalChurch.  Bob is survived by his wife Anna Lee Baxter Allender; three children Donald "Cotton" L. Allender of Bloomington, Larry Allender (Wilma) of Morgantown, and Debbie Mathis (Paul) of Brown County; two step sons David Baxter (Jennifer) of Springville and Danny Baxter of Bloomington; four sisters Dolly Wadke of Indianapolis, Irene Schroeder of Brown Co., Berl Deckard and Mary Brown both of Florida; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his 1st wife Delores (Bruce) Allender in 1994; two sons Lloyd C. Allender and Steven R. Allender; two brothers Glen Allender and George Allender; and one sister Mabel Tucker.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. June 2, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home with Mark Brock and Frank Gott officiating. Burial will follow atDuncanCemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
