Cecil Elliott, 60, of Solsberry passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of Eugene and Mary (Wratten) Elliott born on February 21, 1950 in Loogootee, Indiana. Cecil was a United States Army veteran who served during Vietnam. He was a member of the AMVETS Post 2000 and an avid lover of antique cars. He was retired from the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center. Cecil is survived by Linda Elliott of Bloomfield, IN; his mother Mary Lois Elliott, one daughter Brandi Elliott, two stepsons Miles McCullough and Nathan McCullough, one grandson Curtis McCullough all of Bloomington, IN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cecil was preceded in death by his father and two brothers David Elliott and Eugene Elliott Jr.  The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS in memory of Cecil.
