Charles G. Breedlove, 77, ofBloomington, passed away Tuesday at theGoldenLivingCenter. He was born on December 20, 1933 inDecatur,Indiana, the son of Roscoe and Mildred (Horning) Breedlove Sr. Charles retired from the Physical Plant atIndianaUniversityin 1996. He served in the National Guard for several years and was a member of the Smithville Christian Church. Charles is survived by his three sons Harry Breedlove (Debra), Charles "Rex" Breedlove (Victoria) and Mark Breedlove (Valerie); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley Breedlove, brother Roscoe Breedlove Jr. and sister Violet Zinn. Funeral services will be held 2p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home with Otis Freeman and Kyle Crafton officiating. Burial will follow at Knightridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service at Allen Funeral Home.
