Donald Earl Baxter, 83, of Bloomington passed away September 30,

2011.  He was born December 10, 1927 in Bloomington, to Earl and Bessie (Peterson) Baxter. Don was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Bill Baxter of Creal Springs, Illinois.

 Survivors include his wife Mary Kaler (King) Baxter; daughters Mary

Jane Baxter of Mooresville, IN, Carol Lynn Baxter of Overland Park,

KS, Susan Marie Baxter-Fleming and her husband Jerry of Bloomfield, IN, Elizabeth Baxter-Stevens and her husband Karl of Arlington Heights, IL, and Sheri Baxter-Brock and her husband Ken, of Kilgore, TX; stepchildren Mark and Pauline LeMay of Fort Wayne IN, Chris and Susan LeMay of Fort Meyers, FL and Mary Jane LeMay of Nashville, IN.  Grandchildren Nicholas and Montgomery Stevens; Steven Brock-Green and his wife Jamie; Amber Brock-McGovney and her husband Shawn; Eric and Elizabeth LeMay; Michael and Joseph LeMay; and Ethan Records.  Great-grandchildren Gavin LeMay, Hannah Brock-Green and Allison Brock-McGovney; and niece Sandy Baxter-Grigsby of Cotopaxi, CO.

 A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday October 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church 111 S. Grant Street Bloomington IN 47408.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
