Doris, who spent a lifetime being a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend to everyone she met passed away at the home of her daughter Gwyn Chambers surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, February 27.  Doris worked at RCA and the Bloomington Hospital before retiring to her true loves of gardening, cooking, canning, as well as experimenting and sharing her recipes.

She was born into the family of Charles W. “Chuck” and Myrtle Nelson (Akers) of Sanders IN.  She was a member of the Sanders Pentecostal church.

Doris is survived by her brother Charles Nelson of Pittsboro, IN., 3 of her children; Gwyn Chambers (Jerry) of Smithville, IN., the Reverend Keith Mosier (Kathy) of Kokomo, and Bob Mosier (Karen Fearon) of Conroe, TX.  8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Keith (Bob) Mosier, her son Harry William (Bill) Mosier, sister Dawn McWhorter, and brother Steve Nelson.

Visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home on Wednesday March 2nd from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.  A Service for Doris will be held 1:00 P.M. on Thursday March 3d at Sanders Pentecostal Church.  Interment will follow at the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, IN.
