Doris Jane Warring, 89, of Bloomington, passed away May 18, 2011
at I.U. Health Bloomington. She was born November 13, 1921 in
Monroe County to Will D. and Gayle (Robinson) Prince. Doris
worked at RCA in the payroll department before going on to be a
Realtor for Owens, Bryan, and Reed. She worked as a Realtor
for Owens, Bryan, and Reed for 47 years. She was a member of
the First Christian Church, Eastern Star, Alpha Delta Alumni, and
the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, John Warring and his wife Patty of
Valparaiso, IN, Gregory Scott Worley and his wife Star of Greene
County, two granddaughters, Kate Peuquet and her husband Tony of
Valparaiso, Kristen Wolf and her husband Craig of South Africa, two
grandsons, Matthew Warring of Valparaiso, Anthony Worley of Greene
County, four great-granddaughters, Alexandria, Samantha, Whitney,
and Ava. She was preceded in death by her husband John M.
Warring and her first husband Paul S. Worley, who was killed in
WW2, two brothers, Billy and Donald Prince, Two sisters, Betty Sare
and Phyllis Duncan.
A Graveside service will be held, Monday May 23, 2011, 11:00am
at the Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church
or the American Cancer Society.
