Ellen McGinnis, 63, died Wednesday February 24th, 2010.
Ellen was born July 20th, 1946 in Dixon, Illinois to Leigh and Bernice McGinnis. She moved to Bloomington, Indiana in 1972 and lived with her sister and brother-in-law, Ted and Sally Ciasto.
Ellen enjoyed watching movies and going to baseball games. She loved winter and big snow storms always brought a smile to her face. She was a huge IU basketball fan and never missed a game. Spending time with her 13 great nieces and nephews brought much joy into her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Ellen is survived by her sister, Sally Ciasto and her brother David McGinnis; brother-inlaw Ted Ciasto; nieces, Lisa Orth and Mary K Ciasto; nephews, Ted, Bob, Rick and Leigh Ciasto; 13 great nieces and nephews: Noah, Sarah, Jacob, Katie, Christopher, Hannah, Ellie, Megan, Morgan, Emily, Grace, Noelle, and Dylan.
A casual family remembrance celebration is scheduled for this Sunday. Condolences may be sent to Mary K Ciasto at 2714 Pinehurst Dr., Bloomington, IN 47403.
