Emma,My very oldest friend in my life, We meet when we were 5 years old when your Mom babyset me and were like sisters until we were 12 years old, and I moved to the eastside. I remember so much going to 3rd street pool and going skating every Friday night. You were so much shorter than all of us and so we gave you the name of fugee. Then I remember growing older and having babies at the same times. Then as most friends we grew apart not in spirit. I would see you around town and we would get caught up on our lives. I will miss my sister, that I never had. my prayers go out to all. I will never forget you and you are in my heart. I love you, Donna

Mike, Tim, Jeff, Amy, and Kari, I already miss Emma so much. She was definitely one in a million! I'm thankful for her friendship, and all the memories through the years. I will so miss our conversations. She would both laugh with me, cry with me, listen to me vent, and keep me sane. There was no other person I would rather have on my side than Emma! Love, Sherry Prow

My thoughts and prayers are with the Gooldy family. Jeff and I were best friends when we were younger and I spent many nights at their house. Emma and Mike were like "second parents" to me and Tim like a the older brother. We had a lot of good times back then and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Emma will be truly missed.

Mike, Tim, Jeff, Amy and Kari, I am so deeply sorry to hear about Emma's passing. From the time I first walked into the Gooldy house at the age of 16, Emma and Mike Gooldy treated me like I was THEIR friend, and they were glad I was there. They did not treat me like just a friend of their two sons, some kid they had to make small talk with and then ignore. They were warm and funny and engaging with me. They welcomed me into their home and life as a friend of theirs who just happened to be the same age as their sons! The way they treated me is something I have never forgotten, and greatly influenced how I treat younger people. I was as happy to sit around the pool and talk to Emma and Mike, as I was to go out on the town with Jeff and Tim! And of course Emma and I bonded quickly because we were the only one's who liked the collard greens! I am sorry to hear of the passing of my friend, but I will always have such crystal clear and special memories of someone who was so important in my life. With Love, John Balaguras
