Evelyn I. Nelson, 79, of Bloomington, passed away Friday at Monroe Hospital. She was the daughter of Richard and Anna (Kaeck) Davis born on March 14, 1931 in Sidney, Ohio. Evelyn was a Homemaker. She is survived by her four children Rebecca Blunk of Terre Haute, IN, Wilford Nelson Jr. of Bloomfield, IN, Robert Nelson of Texas and Leonard Kaeck of Spencer, IN; two sisters Lois Purkhizer of French Lick, IN and Phyllis Jane of Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilford Nelson, one son Kenny Kaeck, one brother Robert Davis and one sister Helen Hoagland. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home with Glenn Stidd officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Creek Cemetery in French Lick, IN. Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
