Gary L. Cottengain, 68, of Mitchell, IN passed away at the St. Catherine Hospital in Charlestown, IN on January 21, 2011. He was born to Romaine and Mary (Pemberton) Cottengain on February 10, 1942 in Jeffersonville, IN.
Gary worked as an Environmental Aid for Nursing Homes. His was an avid Bowler and volunteered for Clothe the Child.
Survivors include his sister Kay Graham of Bedford, IN and two nephews, and one niece. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sister Violet Simpson, and Brother Russell Cottengain.
Services will be Monday, January 24, 2011 at 1:00pm at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 Old State Highway 37, Bloomington, IN 47401. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Monday. Burial will follow at the Mitchell Cemetery.
