Bloomington - Gordon F. Bonnell, 85, of Bloomington and formerly Nashville, Tennessee, died Saturday morning. He is survived by his son, Michael K. Bonnell, and grandsons, Zach and Gabe of Bloomington; and his daughter, Kathy Grant (Mike), of Burns, Tennessee, and her children, Jamie, Matthew and Jeremy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna K. Bonnell, and his youngest son, Scott J. Bonnell, both of Nashville, Tennessee. As one of his friends in the Bloomington area, Bill Gilmore, said upon hearing of his death "he was a wonderful, kind and gentle man, I am blessed by knowing him." We all were. Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37 is handling the arrangements.
