Grace E. Barrow, 92, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday at IU
Health Bloomington. Born February 24, 1919 in Monroe
County,Indiana, she was the youngest child of ten children born to
James and Sarah E. (Sturgeon) Pedro. Grace was a
life-long member of the 11th Street Pentecostal Faith
Assembly. She has gone to be with Jesus and will be missed by all
who knew and loved her. Grace is survived by her two sons John
Barrow (Marilyn) and Oscar Barrow; adopted family Mike and Mary
Leturgez; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband of 52 years Oscar Barrow, four sisters Ruth Mullis, Myrtle
Hillenburg, May Bryant and Leona Hash, five brothers Lloyd,
William, Cleo, Albert and Rolly Pedro, and one great-granddaughter
Whitney Barrow. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM
Monday, January 16, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Michael
Douglas and Rev. Neal Pedro officiating. Burial will follow at
Mt.Gilead Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on
Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions
may be given to the family.
