             Harry J. "Jim" Busenbark, Jr., 76, of Bloomington died Saturday afternoon at Garden Villa.  He was born on May 13, 1935 in Bloomington the son of Harry J. and Josephine (Evermann) Busenbark, Sr.  A retired employee of Indiana University Halls of Residence, he worked with them for seventeen years.  He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Burton Woolery Post #18 of the American Legion and the Lauren B. Strain Post #608 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Bloomington.  He was of the Prostestant faith.  He especially loved to spend time in his woodshop at home, doing woodworking and to travel.

            His survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nancy (Lentz) Busenbark, one nephew, Kenneth R. Stephens, Sr., of Bloomington, three great nieces, Kathy Jo Stephens, Kimberly G. Stephens and Stephanie Hollis, and one great nephew, Kenneth R. Stephens, Jr.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Catherine Stephens, two brothers, Paul Busenbark and infant brother Merrill Busenbark and one nephew, Ronald Stephens, Sr.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Baker officiating.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery where the Veterans Honor Guard will conduct Military Graveside rites.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodhaven Christian Church Building Fund, 3345 S. Leonard Springs Rd., Bloomington, IN 47403.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.
