Herbert D. Buck, 72, of Bloomington passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of Herbert N. and Mildred K. (Ogden) Buck born on July 28, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a retired Plasterer having worked for Exterior Finishes. He was a member of Cruisin Classics of Bloomington and Local Union 692 in Indianapolis. Herbert is survived by his two sons Martin D. Buck and Steven L. Buck; two daughters Sheila (Buck) Grove and Chrystal Wickline all of Bloomington; five grandchildren Brent Sutherlin, Heather Sutherlin, Mathew Campbell, Cody Buck and Cheyenne Wickline; one great-granddaughter Bailey Jacobs; four sisters Gertrude Butcher, Bea Kay Fulton, Judy Baker and Wanda Bibbs; one brother Daryl Buck and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Janet Helton and Eunice Evans. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home with Wendy VanderZee officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Herbert.
