            Ina D. Lentz, 92, of Bloomington died on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital.  She was born on October 19, 1918 in Cripple Creek, Colorado the daughter of Burl and Ada "Alma" (Abbott) Hugley.  A person always full of energy, she loved to play bingo and trips to Las Vegas, to be with family and friends whatever she was doing.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, the Ladies of the Moose and Amvets, all in Bloomington.

            Ina was an entrepreneur, willing to work hard to make an idea succeed.  She worked for several years at the former Sarkes Tarzian Corp. plant in Bloomington before becoming self-employed.  She owned and operated Ina's Diner (formerly known as Burger’s Grill), Lee and Ina’s Family Restaurant on West Third St. and the Village Inn in Ellettsville.  She was the founder of the Bloomington Greenhouse and owned Ina’s Flower Shoppe in Bloomington. 

            Survivors include her longtime companion Lee Bertram, one daughter and son-in-law, Deloris “Dee” and Wayne Jones of Bloomington, one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Linda L. Lentz of Mitchell, one daughter-in-law, Beverly Lentz of Bloomington, her grandchildren; Scott Lentz, Travis Lentz, Terre D. Tenpenny, Jennifer A. Tarter, Charlotte Slahor, Rachel Yeatman, Brian Lentz, Brad Lentz, Christina Walker, Holly Covey, Michelle Hobbs, and Stewart and Marva of Oregon.  She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lentz, one son, Walter Lentz, two grandsons; Steven Craig Brown and Patrick James Tenpenny, one daughter, Charlotte Joy, one sister and three brothers.

            Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13th at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37 in Bloomington with Rev. David Lee officiating.  Interment will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.

    Dee, Lee, and Family I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved Ina very much. She was always super sweet to me.I'll miss her alot.
