James D. Perry, 75, of Bloomington passed away Saturday at the Monroe House in Bloomington. He was born on December 27, 1936 in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Max and Rita  (Simpson) Perry. James graduated from Bosse High School and received a bachelors and masters degree at Indiana University. He worked in the
Telecommunications Department at Indiana University as a professor.  Survivors include his brother John Perry of Kent, OH; three sons Brad Perry and Nathan Perry both of Minneapolis, MN and Scott Perry of Carmel, IN; one daughter Angie Perry Ross of Paducah, KY; and six grandchildren Perry, Katherine, Sam, Lucas, Amos and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents and his second wife Virginia Thompson Perry. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana University Foundation.
