James "Mike" Mitchell, 42 of Bloomington passed away on October
2, 2011 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born April
13, 1969 in Bloomington, IN to James M. and Jayne (McHenry)
Mitchell.
James was a graduate of Bloomington High School South in 1988
and worked for Indiana University in Building Services. He
attended Smithville Christian Church and was an avid Hunter and
Fisherman.
James is survived by his two daughters, Jessica Michelle
Mitchell and Morgan Ellen Mitchell both of Bloomington, sister
Margaret "Meg" Sparks and her husband Steve of Bloomington,
grandchildren, James Metelus Clay and Jordan Michael Fay,
nephews, Marcus Guy Mitchell of Colorado Springs, Colorado,
and Zachery Mitchell Sparks of Bloomington.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Guy and
Katherine Mitchell.
Services will be, 2pm, Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the Allen
Funeral Home 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington, IN.
Visitation will be from 11-2pm prior to services on Tuesday.
Burial will follow at the Smithville Cemetery.

Allen Funeral Home.
