James N. "Jim" Dausch, 71, of Bedford passed away on Wednesday,
June 27th with his loving family at his side. He
was born in Indianapolis on January 16, 1941 the son of Carl and
Viola (Lawson) Dausch, Sr. and attended Morgantown High School,
having grown up in the Brown County area. He and his wife
owned and operated the former Zephyr Service Station on S. Walnut
St. and J&S Pro Station at Beck's Crossing in Bloomington for
many years. He also owned J&S Sandblasting south of
Bloomington. Next to his love of family, Jim lived and loved
to fish, especially for catfish.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Sue Dausch of Bedford, his
children; Deborah (husband Kerry) Latham of McCalla, AL, James A.
Dausch of Pell City, AL, Cynthia (husband Steve) Latham of
Bessemer, Al and Wesley Dausch of Bloomington, his step-children,
Faron (wife Alison) Burns of Bloomington and Susan Annette Burns,
one sister, Gloria Kent of Brown County, IN and one brother, Carl
W. (wife Kay) Dausch, Jr. of Martinsville, thirteen grandchildren,
seven great grandchildren, seven nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one step-son, Wesley
Scott Burns.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at
Allen Funeral Home , 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37 in Bloomington with
Bro. Tom White officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek
Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and
one hour preceding the services on Monday. Online condolences
