Janice Lynn Martin, 53, of Bloomington died Thursday evening at her mother’s residence in Bloomington.  She was born on December 31, 1957 in Bloomington the daughter of Richard R. “Dick” and Betty J.(Van Winkle) Martin.  She was an employee of Stonebelt Industries in Bloomington and a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.  Janice thoroughly enjoyed her many friends and family members and was special to so many people.

Survivors include her mother, Betty J. Martin, one sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Michael White of Japan, two nieces, Tatiana White and Natasha White, one nephew, Christopher White, all of Japan, three aunts, Sharon J. Babcock, Phyllis Gray and Blanche Martin, all of Bloomington and many loving and caring cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard R. Martin in 2001 and her grandparents, Charles and Gladys Van Winkle and James  E. and Carrie Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5th at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37 with Tom Ellsworth officiating.  Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.  Friends may call on Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
