I'm so sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. She will be deeply missed in the Bloomington area, especially within the real estate community. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Ended too soon but a life well lived. Jeanne had knowledge, capability and courage and was a help to so many of us. We are happy for the time we shared with her.

Jeanne was my close friend all through high school in Patricksburg In. I have so many wonderful memories of her. My condolences to all her family.

I am greatly saddened by word that one of my favorite people in the world, Jeanne Walters, has passed. One of the most dynamic individuals I ever met, I fell in love with her immediately upon our meeting and have been at least a little bit jealous of Kenny all these many years, although our life’s choices led us down separate paths. Jeanne was the epitome of her mother’s sweet goodness and her father’s ornery but principled independence, and for this, alone, she was one of the most significant people I have ever met. But she was also intelligent and fearless … and the few times we got to spend time together, I always came away knowing I’d spent time with someone who set the bar high—often higher than I could easily attempt. But if I wanted to be proud of my accomplishments, I I knew I had only to ask myself, “How would Jeanne do this?” … and if I used her example, I would come out a winner. Jeanne was a star in anyone's book. She always had a smile and kind word for you. Not only will she be missed by her family and friends, but this community and REALTOR board has lost a significant contributor and friend.

She was always very professional and so pleasant. I am sorry that she had such a long battle, but she was always so upbeat about her condition. I am so sorry for your loss.

Jeanne was a great person to be around and she was always smiling. When I first met her she took her shoes off in my home and felt like she was "at home" with me. She grew up around my family "The Tinsley's" from Patricksburg, IN. She took after her Mom in a very caring sense and she had a positive outlook on life! She looked at the best in people and did not judge them. Even when I knew about her cancer years ago it didn't seem to stop her from doing her work.

I did not know about Jeannie's passing until I received the letter from her colleagues and I am very saddened by the news. As a woman buying her first new home Jeannie was my realtor and she made it all so easy. Over the years I have seen her periodically particularly at one of the DWC meetings and had the oportunity to sit at a table with her share wonderful conversation. She was kind and generous and so easy to talk with

I am saddened by the news of Jeanne's passing. I met Jeanne in 1996 when I was moving from Maryland to Bloomington and was looking to purchase a home. I was immediately impressed with Jeanne's business sense and the way that she seemed to approach everything with joy. I went to school with Jeanne. I was looking at old pictures this past summer and found one of Jeanne beating on the drum we made together as a school project. That wws just one of the many times we spent overnight at each others house. I have many fond memories of Jeanne even though we did not have contact after high school. My nephew (Bret Mishler) works in Bloomington and meant Jeanne and had only good things to say about her.. A classmate called me after the funneral so I could not attend. I just heard today about the passing of Jeanne. We rented briefly from her company last year. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a lovely individual that I'm sure touched the lives of many. She will be missed.
