Christine and I want you to know what a difference you made. I will never forget how both Jo Ann and Roger helped me when my father died when I was 10. Roger helped with work around our home and I was included in activities with Jeff and Allen frequently. It was as if I had an adopted family. We could not have had better neighbors. I need to thank Jo Ann for pulling me out of the deep part of 3rd street pool or I would not be writing this. I have lived and worked all over the world (I have been lucky that way). Having spent a career as a Marine Officer and later as an executive with Johnson Controls living in and out of the country. I have been very fortunate and in the beginning thought "look what I have done." At about the age of 40 I realized I had really done nothing. There were many people like Jo Ann and Roger who gave me more than I could ever repay. Your positive influence on my life was significant. I can only hope there are people who feel the same way about me when my work here on earth is done. Jeff and Allen are life long friends even though we have not seen each other for years. I remember fondly the time as teenagers we spent together. The entire family is in our prayers. God bless, Jim & Christine Hanson
