Our deepest sympathy to all of John's family. We had met John and Martha and later Mary through Elderhostels and thoroughly enjoyed the company of this wonderful man. And, contrary to a published report, John looked like a pretty "accomplished golfer" to us in the dozen or so times we played with him. Not a bad bowler either.
