John W.L. Johnson

January 4, 1020 – February 3, 2010

John (Lynne) Johnson, 90, Ellettsville, Indiana died Wednesday at

Monroe Hospital. Lynne was born in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He graduated from Tech High School -June 1937. He served in

the Army from November 21, 1941 and was honorably discharged

November 6, 1945. During his service he was with Company A

753 Railway Shop Bn as a Machinist 114. He received 2 Bronze Stars.

After service, he was employed at Eli Lilly & Company from January

2, 1946, until he retired in December 31, 1985 in the Engineering

Dept. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Houston

Johnson, his wife, Mary (Clarke) Johnson in 1999. He was a

Member (62 years as a Scottish Rite Mason).

There will be no services and Burial will be at

Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
