Jon Byron Olson, 68, of Bloomington passed away May 8, 2012 at
Garden Villa. He was born June 30, 1943 in Fort Wayne, IN to
Lawrence and Mildred (Shepperd) Olson. Jon graduated from
Concordia High School in 1961 and Indiana University with a B.S. in
1965. He was a member of the Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity. Jon
served in the National Guard then became a salesman in the printing
industry.
Surviving family members include his sons, Jeff Olson and his
wife Kate of Louisville, KY, Brent Olson and his wife Nicole of
Indianapolis, IN, daughter, Linnea Adelson and her husband Greg of
Louisville, KY., brother, Lawrence A. Olson and his wife Barbara of
Milton, W.Va. He is also survived by his grandchildren,
Matthew, Andrew, Jacob, Grant, Quin, and Alexandra.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Friday May 11, 2012 at
the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington, IN.,
with visitation one hour prior to services.
