Joseph Neal Sterrett, 66, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was the son of Floyd and Mary (Neal) Sterrett, born on September 29, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Joseph was retired from Economy Termite & Pest Control. He also worked part-time as a security guard for Hinds Security at the Pointe. He was a member of AMVETS Post 2000, Masonic Monroe Lodge 22, Moose Lodge 1081, Murat Shrine, Stone Belt Shrine Club and Indianapolis Scottish Rites.  Joseph is survived by his loving wife Sheila Sterrett; three sons, Tim Sterrett and wife Penny, Jake Sterrett and wife Kathy and Joel Sterrett all of Bloomington; one sister Joann Pryor and husband Jim of Spencer; four grandchildren Michael, Chase, Bradley and Brooke, and several nieces and nephews.  Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Donna Walker and Barb Harris.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home with Glen Stidd officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
