Kathleen (Trusler) Obrakta, 64, of Bloomington passed away at her residence on February 25, 2011. She was born on October 4, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to George and Helen (Ernsting) Trusler.
Kathleen was a retired R.N. and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. She also worked as a volunteer coordinator for the Animal Shelter in Bloomington.
Survivors include her husband Ken Obrakta of Bloomington, Sons, Michael Obrakta of Florida, Matthew Obrakta of Kansas, Step-son Kevin Obrakta and his wife Sandy of Braidwood, ILL., Step-Daughter Denise Barry and her husband Syd of Wilmington, ILL., Grand-Daughter Haven Marlette-Obrakta of Bloomington and Sister, Judy Houser of Indianapolis, IN.
A Memorial Service will be at 6pm; Wednesday March 2, 2011 at the Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, IN. Visitations will be from 4-6pm prior to services.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the City of Bloomington, Animal Care and Control.
