Kenneth Ray Blake, 77, of Bloomington died on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 at Bell Trace Health and Living Center.  Kenneth was born on Dec. 19, 1932 in Monroe County the son of Harley and Mary Jane (Davis) Blake.  Kenneth was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and worked as a foreman at Sarkes Tarzian Corp. before going to work for the United States Postal Service where he retired after 20 years of faithful service.  He was also a member of the Pentecostal Faith Assembly on West 11th St. in Bloomington

          He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara (Hollars) Blake, son Randall Blake and wife Rhonda of Fishers, IN, son Kevin Blake and wife Cindy of Wauconda, IL, daughter Beth Ann Knox and husband David of Bloomington, grandchildren; Kristin (Blake) Lewis and husband Eric, Kari Poling and fiancé Vince Eads, all of Bloomington, Kelsey (Blake) Miller and husband Matthew of Fishers, IN, Andrew Blake of Bloomington, Lauren and Rolin Blake of Wauconda, Il, Claire Blake of Fishers and great grandson Dallas Blake Knox of Bloomington.  Also surviving are sisters, Norma Hacker and husband Don, Bertha Andis and Helen Southern and brother, Eugene Blake.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lloyd Blake and Huber Blake, sisters Genevia Andis and Ruth Annis Russell and one grandson, Calvin Blake Knox.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37, Bloomington.  Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens where the Veterans Honor Guard will conduct Military Graveside Rites.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Thursday.
