Kimberly G. "Mimi" Stephens, 48, of Springville died Wednesday,
July 4, 2012 at I.U. Health-Bloomington. She was born on July
23, 1963 the daughter of Ronald and Frances "Fran" (Cook)
Stephens. A 1980 graduate of Bloomington High School North,
Mimi worked at Kroger Seminary Square for 26 years and for Cook,
Inc. the past 9 years. She was an avid lover of animals,
enjoyed being with her family and friends and like to fish and hunt
mushrooms.
She is survived by her sister, Kathy Stephens of Springville, four
nephews; Brandon Stephens of Springville, Joshua Shipley of
Bloomfield , Kwinton Stephens and Kyle Stephens of Spencer, two
nieces, Samantha Shipley of Springville and Kimberlynn Shipley of
Bloomfield, her closest friend, Gail Corlette of Bloomington, her
great aunt, Nancy Busenbark and her great uncle, James Harlow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Keith
Stephens and one half-brother, Donnie Sailer.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Allen Funeral
Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County Humane
