Kyle Bruce Smith, 45, of Spencer passed away Saturday at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born on August 16, 1966 in Bloomington, IN, the son of Bill and Janet (Hill) Smith.  Kyle graduated from Bloomington North High School in 1984 where he was on the All State Baseball team. Several years ago Kyle had worked for General Electrics. He was a member of the Wild Turkey Federation and Duck Unlimited. Kyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball and golf.  Kyle is survived by his parents Bill and Janet Smith; two sisters Amy Moran and Gayla McAdams; one brother Doug Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Kyle was preceded in death by his  grandparents Merle and Stella Hill and Dale and Hazel Smith. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of choice. The family would like to give a special thank you to Kyle's nephew Patrick Moran for the friendship and care he showed Kyle.

    I met Kyle probably around 10 years ago through mutually friends - we became Poker Buddies! Kyle was such an amazing card player and of course an amazing person. I was always so excited to see him at the card games because of the great energy and amuzement that he brought! He was always full of cheer and smiles! He will truly be missed!
