            Lois M. Hill, 87, of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday morning at her residence with her loving family at her side.  She was born in Sanders, Indiana on March 23, 1925 the daughter of Cameron and Mettie (Smith) Todd.  A graduate of Smithville High School, she was a longtime homemaker and previously worked at RCA of Bloomington, J.C. Penny's and the former Ayr-Way Store.  Lois volunteered at the Bloomington Hospital for over 30 years and was a member of Smithville Christian Church.  She most recently attended the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene at Judah.

            She is survived by her husband, James Hill, two sons and daughters-in-law, Stuart Thomas and Rita Hill and James Ray and Connie Hill, all of Bloomington, four grandchildren; Michele (Chris) Kelley, Amber (Brad) Burdeshaw, Ryan (Cadee) Hill and Ashley Hill and seven great grandchildren; Houston Burdeshaw, Gracie Kelley, Hattie Burdeshaw, Hensley Burdeshaw, Halston Burdeshaw, Whitney Kelley and Claire Hill.

            She was preceded in death by her siblings; Opal Deckard, Olive Pareaunteau, Ophie Todd, Oma Shields, Inez Berry, Viola "Vi" Scott, Hobart Todd, Franklin Todd and Gilbert Todd.

            Funeral services will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37 in Bloomington at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 with Rev. Duane Boadey officiating.  Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.  Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour preceding the services on Monday.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org
