Lola Bragg, 64, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at her home.  She was born December 14, 1945, the daughter of Russell and Eunice (Downing) West.  She was an employee of Cook Medical in Bloomington for 14 years.  She retired from RCA after 25 years.

 Lola loved her family and always enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports and school activities and she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

 Survivors include her husband Larry Bragg, her son Randy Younger (Cheryl), grandsons Jackson, Mason and Grayson Younger; stepdaughters Marcy Umphress (Brian), Crystal Bragg, Alicia Knowles (David) and Renee Meier (Stephen) and step grandchildren, Lindsay Umphress, Haley Umphress, Brian Umphress Jr., Caitlyn Knowles, Wynn Knowles, Elijah Meier and Garrett Meier.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Lloyd West.

 A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Rd. 37 with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating.  Services will conclude at the funeral home.

 Visitation will be on Monday from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association

    lola was 1 of a kind ill sure miss her she is the type of a person that would give u the shirt off her back.she always made a joke about everything.she loved her grandbabies and her furry babies at home. thought and prayer are with her familyand shorty.

    Randy, So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I am glad I got to see her and talk for a few minutes at the Sports Plex during the basketball season. I hadn't seen her for a few years and she was just as bubbly and friendly as ever. I'm sure she will be missed so very much...please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
