So Sorry to hear that Louise has passed away. I don't know any of the family, but Louise was a very good friend to my "adopted" grandmother, Jennie Sims, who lived just up the street from her. Louise did so much for Jennie when she was getting older that I could not do when I was not there and I am forever grateful. After Jennie passed away 6 years ago, I lost touch with Louise and I regret that. For the little time that I knew Louise, I learned that she was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. I am honored to have called her my friend, and I am certain that she will be missed.--Sincerely, Chad Hayes & Family

I am so saddened to hear that my dear friend and neighbor has died. Most of my fondest childhood memories involve "Aunt" Louise and "Uncle" Gene, "Grandma" Lewis, and Troubles, the dog. Watching her walk to work beside my 6'4" brother when he was in high school was always worth a chuckle. While pulling the weeds in the sidewalk cracks, or playing jacks together on the back carport, we could talk about anything. These friends were key influences in most areas of my life decisions. As an adult, every trip to Bloomington absolutely had to include a visit with Louise. Our children enjoyed her pretty home and came to understand how important people can become to us. The warmth of her love has always been a precious surety in my life. I know I am a better and stronger person because Louise was a part of my life. I will miss her.

We are so saddened to learn of the Louise's passing. She was one of a kind - gentle in spirt, with a servant's heart. She was totally devoted to her nieces and nephews, to Fairview Church, and a friend to so many people. My mother, Dorothy McConnell (who is 3 years younger), worked with Louise at Natalie's Fruit Stand and Kresge's. As Chad Hayes mentioned, she was good friend to Jennie Sims. Louise and Jennie would go shopping and get their hair done on Thursdays. There was also senior nights at the Waffle House and we would meet Louise, Jennie, and friends for dinner. We loved Louise and she will forever be in our hearts. With deepest sympathy, John and Terri Belden Dorothy McConnell
