I was very sad to have heard about Marijohns passing. I met Marijohn at the Chiropractic office where I work. Over several visits to our office I spent some time chatting with Marijohn and found her to be sharp as a tack, caring and a interesting woman.. She would often talk of her family and different places she had lived. I will truly miss her company.. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Stacy Carmichael

Johnny was a childhood friend of my father's family. They were all born in Oliver. She lived next to my Dad, Bob when they were very young. I also have a picture of her standing beside my Dad at Coonrod School. I last visited her in Oct 09. I really enjoyed knowing her. Deb Travers

I enjoyed working with Maryjohn at IU. We had some great laughs together. I wish I had been in contact with her the last 10 years since I retired. Why to we wait? I know her family enjoyed her and will miss her.

I had the pleasure of working with Johnny for many years while she was at Indiana University. Johnny was a competent and industrious person to work with, but much more importantly, she was simply a wonderful and fun person to be around. She had a zest for life often evident from the frequent twinkle in her eye as she would relate a story. Her many and varied experiences rounded out her character and represented the interesting person that she was. Johnny was never content to let life come to her, she pursued and wrested enjoyment from it. I am happy to have had the opportunity to know her. The light in the world is a little dimmer without Johnny with us.
