Mark J. Miller, 57, of Bloomington died on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at his residence in Bloomington following an illness. He was born on August 30, 1953 in Sweetser, Indiana the son of James and Janet (Woodmansee) Miller. He was Vice President of Mays Chemical Co. in Indianapolis for over 20 years.
Mark was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, a vintage movie buff, lover of Pink Floyd and Blue Oyster Cult and volunteered with numerous charitable organizations in the Marion County area. He particularly enjoyed working with the United Way of Marion County.
Survivors include his wife, Camille (Meadows) Miller of Bloomington, his children; Chris Miller of Westfield, In, Jenni Miller of Surprise, AZ, Crystal Tipton of Sheridan, IN, Cliff Tipton of Bedford, his mother, Janet McGriff of Bonita Springs, FL, six grandchildren; Charles, Kaitlyn, William, Savannah, J.R. and Abby. Also surviving is one sister, Kathy Miller Perkins of Louisville, Ky. He is survived as well by his “Furry Children”, Junior Johnson and Chanel Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Miller.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Allen Funeral Home with friends and family officiating. Friends may greet the family from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.
