Martha Louise Good of Bloomington passed away Friday April 16, 2010 at her residence. She was 55 years old. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on July 19, 1954 to Rosa Carol Collins Carpenter. After graduation from Valley High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, Martha received her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from Shenandoah College and Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia. Martha spent her professional career as a Registered Nurse in various hospital settings. She leaves behind her son Glenn Long and wife Beth along with their son Ethan of Palm Harbor, Florida; son Christopher C. Long and companion Kara Hadley and his children Eden, Mason and Anika of Bloomington, Indiana; a daughter Jennifer Yanta and husband Justin along with their children Adaryn and Olwen of Pflugerville, Texas. Also surviving are Martha’s mother Rosa Carol Carpenter of Atlanta, Georgia and a sister , Rosa Conrad and husband John and their children Ben and Amanda of Fayetteville, Georgia. Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37 is handling the private family arrangements for Martha.
