              Mary A. Temples, 91, of Bloomington died on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Monroe Hospital.  She was born on March 20, 1920 in Bloomington the daughter of Glenn and Lucille (Hays) Young.  She was a longtime homemaker and also worked at the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity on the I.U. campus for several years.  She was a faithful member of the Eastview Church of the Nazarene.

            Mary is survived by her children; Neva Jo Doub-Smith and her husband, William "Bill" Smith of Show Low, AZ, Phillip E. Temples and his wife, Ariel Cohen of Watertown, Mass and Joyce Ann Chandler of Bloomington, four grandchildren and spouses; Jeff and Becky (Tschider) Doub and Jodie Doub, all of Phoenix, AZ, Dannie and Lydia Chandler, Jr.  of Bloomington and Brian and Jamie Chandler of Indianapolis, six great grandchildren; Caroline Chandler and Dannie Chandler III of Bloomington, Isabelle, Braylon and Danica Chandler and Matthew Dyer, all of Indianapolis.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl Temples in 1992, one sister, Sarah Glenn "Glennie" Holmes, her son-in-law, Mark Doub and her step-father, Maurice Evans.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26th at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37 with Rev.'s Richard Burdette and Richard Miller officiating.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call on Friday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org
