             Mary E. (Skirvin) Jeffers, 94, of Bloomington went home to her Lord and Savior Monday, May 7, 2012.  Born April 25, 1918 in Bloomington, IN she was the daughter of William Edgar and Edith (Hancock) Skirvin.  Seventy plus years ago August 1, 1941, Mary married the love of her life, Floyd Jeffers.  She was a homemaker, Cake Decorator and Childcare Provider and a member of Southern Hills (formerly Indiana Avenue) Church of Christ.

            Mary loved her family.  She is survived by her loving husband, Floyd, her sister Hazel (Skirvin) Cummings, son Ronald F., Spencer, IN and three daughters; Linda K. Jeffers, Donna Jo (Roger) Zink and Debra Ann (Tom) Woodward of Bloomington, IN.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; Daniel (Heather Floyd) Willems, Christopher Willems of Louisville, KY< Michelle Willems Moore of Berwick, LA., Aaron (Amy) Jeffers, Rolla, MO, Michael Jeffers and Jared (Brandy) Jeffers of Spencer, IN, Elizabeth Ann (Brian) Underwood of Plainfield, IN, Jennifer (Jimmy) White of Indianapolis, IN, Ashley Woodward of Bloomington, Tracy (Marcus) Christie and Jeffrey (Kathy) Sadler of Bloomington, IN.  Mary also has 15 great grandchildren; Michael Moore and Danielle Payne, Berwick, LA, Joseph, Jeremiah and Elyse Jeffers, Rolla, MO, Veronica and Noah Jeffers of Spencer, Avery and Cooper Underwood of Plainfield, Katelyn White, Indianapolis and Alle Sadler, Ceilidh and Keira Christie and Adrianna (Adi) and Carrigan (Carri) Brooks of Bloomington and one great, great grandchild, Hailey Payne, and eleven nieces and nephews; Max (Judy) Skirvin, Donald (Judy) Skirvin, Janice (Don) Spriggs of Bloomington, Evelyn (Morris) Stivers of Solsberry, Dorothy (Curley) Plaisted of Minnesota, Jeanne Harris of KY, Ruth Pope of Greenwood, IN, Norma (Robert) Burchard of Sarasota, FL, Michilene Fugich of Panama City Beach, FL, John (Jackie) Fugich of Dahlonega, GA, and Tamala (Dave) Takaki of Stuttgart, Germany.

            Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harden T. and Mary (Lake Hancock, William T. and Elizabeth (Polley) Skirvin, parents William Edgar and Edith (Hancock) Skirvin, one sister, Doris (Skirvin) Fugich, six brothers; Edwin H, Albert H., William H., James H., Dale and Gale Skirvin and three nephews Ted Skirvin, Larry Skirvfin and Louis Fugich.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Southern Hills Church of Christ, 1030 W. Country Club Dr. in Bloomington with Bro. Pat Arthur officiating.  Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at Allen Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday one hour preceding the services.
