            Mary Lee Sundt passed this life in her eighty-ninth year at Garden Villa in Bloomington on Friday morning, Oct. 7th, 2011.  She was born on January 9, 1923 in Mellott (Fountain County), Indiana the daughter of Jesse Lee and Mary (Moore) Miller.  Her family moved to Attica in 1936 and she graduated from Attica High School in 1941.  She resided in Indianapolis for a short time and then returned to Attica and married DeWayne Sundt on December 31, 1948.  In 1979, they moved to Palm Springs, CA and then to Naples, FL two years later.

            Mary Lee had been a bookkeeper for her father at Attica Motor Company and for Sundt Standard Service.  The Sundt's would later be proprietors of the Attica Credit Bureau and Held Abstract Co. in Williamsport, in which she served as manager.

            Mary Lee was a lifetime member of Tri Kappa Sorority, an avid read and enjoyed knitting and developed a love for the game of golf.  She was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.

            Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Judy Sundt of Bloomington, two grandsons, Chad Sundt of Rossach, Germany and Randall Sundt of West Warwick, R.I.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005 and one sister, Elizabeth Ann (Miller) Zenor.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Allen Funeral Home with Alan Phillips officiating.  Entombment will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens mausoleum.  Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org
