Mary Lou (Newell) Gaither 78, of Bloomington passed away on February 27, 2011 at the Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Marshall, ILL. to Glen and Elaine (Livix) Newell on August 14, 1932.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of the St. Charles Catholic church in Bloomington, IN. She was involved at the church as a Bereavement Counselor and Welcoming Committee.
Survivors include her sons, Mark Patrick Gaither and his wife Mari Anne, David Lee Gaither and his wife Amy, Brother Larry Newell, Sister Betty Garten, Grandchildren David James Ray Gaither, Tare Mari Renaud and her husband Patrick, and Great-Grandson Kai Riley Renaud.
Services will be at 11am on Friday March 4, 2011 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Bloomington with visitation on Thursday March 3, 2011 from 4-8pm at the Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old State Road 37, Bloomington, IN. A visitation is also scheduled at the church from 10-11am prior to services on Friday. Burial will follow at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, IN.
