Mary L. Miller, 82, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday at Garden Villa with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Samuel R. and Frances H. (Harden) Hunsaker Sr., born November 18, 1927 in Bloomington, Indiana. She retired from Otis Elevator as an inspector after several years of service. Mary was a member of the Free Methodist Church. She loved her family and church very much. She also enjoyed her weekly luncheons with her great grandsons. Mary is survived by her two children Lee Ann Murphy (Larry) and Daniel E. Miller (Beverly) both of Bloomington; four granddaughters Danna Harbstreit (Nathan) of Bloomington, Kim Malec (Jim) of Cincinnati, Shanna Miller (Steve) of Bloomington, and Annie Miller of Bloomington;  seven great grandchildren Shelby Langley, Will Malec, Zed Harbstreit, Avery Malec, Maggie Langley, Gunnar Harbstreit and Brock Langley; one brother Sam Hunsaker Jr.; one brother-in-law Don Hawkins and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Miller, two sisters Patricia Nicely and Kathleen Hawkins, sister-in-law Sue Hunsaker and brother-in-law Bill Nicely. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Mel Nead officiating. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Bloomington Hospital. The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Villa Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care Mary received.
