Michael E. Eads, 70, of Bloomington died on Tuesday evening at Bloomington Hospital following a lengthy illness.  He was born on April 16, 1940 in Monroe County, Indiana the son of Ancil and Juanita (Mitchner) Eads.  He was a carpenter with English Construction Co. and previously operated a grocery store on South Fairfax Rd.  He was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.

          Survivors include his wife, Rochelle (Burks) Eads of Bloomington, one daughter, Sherri McGinnis of Bloomington, two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Shellie Eads of Eminence, IN and Kevin and Anna Eads of Bloomington, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Ginny Eads of Bloomington.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters,Patty Weaver and Sue Hillenburg and one son-in-law, Randy McGinnis.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37.  Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
