Michael Todd Bower of Bloomington died unexpectedly January 16, 2012 after a lingering illness.  He was born in Bloomington May 20, 1962 to  William C. and Toni (Trenta) Bower.  Todd graduated from Bloomington High School South and was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Navy for five years.  He became an accomplished under water welder during his tour of duty in the Pacific. 

When he returned home he became a pipe-fitter with Local 136 and worked at Bower & Sons Plumbing & Heating and Mech-Tech.  Todd was well read and could intelligently converse on many topics.  He was
loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and pet cat.

Survivors include his father William C. Bower, sister Eva Marie Christensen (William) and brothers William C. Bower, Jr. and Anthony Trent Bower (Jeannie) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Toni Kay Bower and his grandparents George L. and Mary Bower.

There will be a private memorial service for the family at a future date. Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37 is handling the arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.
