Nina K. Neal Freeman, age 88 of Bloomington passed away at 3:30AM Monday morning June 6, 2011 at her home. She was born November 23, 1922 in Bloomington to Thomas J. McGlocklin and Nancy A. Stafford McGlocklin. Nina graduated from Bloomington High School in 1941, worked for Western Union and Bloomington Limestone and also worked in her family's business, Neal's Vendors. She later worked for Indiana University and as a Volunteer at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Nina is a member of the First United Church. Nina is survived by her husband James Freeman of Bloomington; daughter Patricia J. Neal of Maui, Hawaii; two granddaughters Wendy Graves of Oakland, California and Jessica Wendt of Vancouver, Washington and a great grandson Alexander also of Vancouver. Nina was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband LaVere W. Neal, a brother James T. McGlocklin and two sisters, Beulah McGlocklin and Thelma Funkhouser. There will be no viewing or public services for Nina. Contributions may be made to IU Health Bloomington Hospital Volunteer services care of Connie HIll.
