Patricia Sue (Denniston) Moore
September 28, 1936-July 1, 2011
Patricia Sue (Denniston) Moore, 74, of Bloomington passed
away at her residence on July 1, 2011. She was born September
28, 1936 to William H (Bill) and Anna Mae (Hartman) Denniston in
Monroe County. Patricia worked for Otis Elevator for 34 years
before retiring. Her memberships include Women of the Moose
since 1988, Ladies Auxiliary VFW since 1992, Ladies Auxiliary
Fraternal Order of Eagles since 1988, Helping Hands CB radio Club,
and the Tuesday night women's bowling league at Classic Lanes.
She is survived by daughters Mona K. (Darrill) Lawson of
Bloomington, Shelley (Jim) Hamilton of Martinsville, sons Dan and
John (Lisa) Moore both of Bloomington, brothers William (Butch)
and, Mike (Karen) Denniston both of Bloomington, sister Joan
(Albert Jr.) Staggs of Marco IN, grandchildren John (JD) Lawson,
Heather Lawson, Joshua Moore of Bloomington, Andy (Jayme) Willison
of Martinsville, Daniel Moore of Bloomington, Shawna (Brandon) Pugh
of Martinsville, Mikie Moore of Bloomington, Sarah Sheese of
Gosport, Dylan Moore of Bloomington, great-grandchildren Hayley and
Nicholas Lawson both of Bloomington, Katie Eddy of Worthington,
Skylar Moore of Bloomington, Aidan, Cameron, Bradley , and
MacKenzie Willison all of Martinsville, Addie Moore of Jasper,
Ryan, Dara, and Adam Lawson all of Bloomfield, Dariah and
Eriah Hamilton of Martinsville.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, infant
brother Russell E. Denniston, sister Wilma Smith, son-in-law
Darrill Lawson, brother-n-laws Robert Smith and Albert Staggs Jr.
and ex-husband John (Ray) Moore.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 5, 2011 from 5-9pm at the
Allen Funeral Home 4155 S Old State Road 37 Bloomington, IN.
Services will be held 2pm on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at the funeral
home. Burial will follow at the Clear Creek Cemetery.
