Pauline Lemon, 80, of Bloomington died on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Monroe County on February 18,1931 the daughter of Floyd and Janie (Deckard) Mullis. She was a homemaker and previously worked with Sarkes Tarzian Corp. and RCA of Bloomington. She was a ardent support of the Trinity Broadcasting Network for many years and always worked hard in her garden, with her flowers and helping provide for her family.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert L. Lemon, her children; Kenneth Lemon of Hermitage, TN, James “Robert” Lemon of Thomas, West Virginia and Lesa Mayer of Morgantown, two sisters; Mary Chandler of Bloomington and Ruth Pruett of Lebanon, IN, one brother, Cecil Mullis of Bloomington, seven grandchildren; Sean Nestor, who she and Herbert adpopted and raised, John Lemon, Rebecca Douglas, Laurel Lemon, Logan Lemon, Kaylee Mayer and Brice Mayer and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Diane Nestor in 1998, three brothers, Delmar Mullis, Wayne Mullis and Floyd Mullis, Jr. and two siblings in infancy.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Valhalla Memory Gardens. There will no visitation. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.
