Bobby, It was a delight knowing you and visiting with you. Talking about anything and everything. You taught me computers and their use for researching my family roots. You never seemed to tire trying to keep my computers running. Your upside down tomatoe plants were a blast. Our talks about sports and tv shows were always interesting. Mary and I are proud to count you among our dearest friends. We will always remember you and your puppies. Your laughter will be missed. Love Jay and Mary

To the Horton family---Bobby worked on our computer and was such a friendly and kind person. He talked me through some computer issues on the phone and it was like talking to family. He always had a smile on his face. I know he will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Phyllis & Danny Everett

I am a good friend of Rickys. I personally did not know Bobby, but felt like I did. Rick would talk about him all the time. How great he was with computers and how good of a person he was. I look forward to Ricky telling me more stories about Bobby. My prayers go out to all of your family.

To Bobs Family---we just wanted you to know how much we thought of Bob. For the past 6 years he has been coming to our house to help us with our computer problems. Even when we were in Florida , I knew all I had to do was give him a ring and he would come up with a solution. We also enjoyed his visits even though he was there on business. A good man and we will miss him. Jim and Wanda Carroll

Although I did not know him personally, through working with his niece, Haley, I have heard about what a wonderful uncle he was and how close he was to her father (i.e., his brother). You wrote a wonderful tribute about him in The Herald Times. My deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of someone so special to so many.

Dear Loretta, Dale, Ricky, and Sylvia, I learned of ( my teenage years best friend) Bobby's death too late to get back to Bloomington to pay my respects in person. He was a hoot and always getting both of us in trouble! He did have a zest for life unmatched by the challenges he faced. I was able to visit him a few years back and took my girls with me. My middle daughter Amanda is type1 diabetic since age 3 so she enjoyed seeing an "old guy" who had dealt with that disease with grace and spit and vinegar. I remember fondly our adventures as teenage boys and with the love and support of his family his life was a resounding success and blessing to me. God Bless you all in your loss! Sincerely, Terry Dyson
